Sunny Boulevard’® is a great selection of this underused North American native plant that was selected for its much longer bloom time. Its tight, compact form sporting deep green willow-like leaves is also one of it landscape strong points and, also, the perfect backdrop for a riotous display of small, brilliant yellow, daffodil-like flowers that unfurl beginning in July and continue right on until September. Fruit sets after flowering, offering even more colorful interest through the autumn and winter months. ‘Sunny Boulevard’® thrives in well-drained soil but is also very adaptable to poor and drought soils while being able to bloom and grow in any full sun to part shade location.
