This selection is magical with its incredible bi-color bloom, its long flowering season and its compact, fit anywhere form. Deep green, narrow foliage forms a tight, yet fine textured mound that covers itself with buds in late spring. These buds begin to open in late June and soon the plant is covered with big, single red flowers with brilliant yellow-orange edges. This unique bloom continues to brilliantly fill the garden throughout the summer months and creates a soaring wave of color when massed.
