Manuel J. Vales, III started our tradition of fine gardening in 1968, as the Head of Grounds at Bilthewold Estates in Bristol, RI. In 1980, we opened our garden center and have been working and planting for over 27 years. ( That's a lot of plants, trees, shrubs and we hope it has made the earth a better place!!) We continue to develop and expand our products, landscape services, for you our customer.

Our garden center Redwood Nursery and Garden Center  has been providing top quality service to the local community for 30 years. The garden center is run by Jacqueline Vales and Manny Vales Owners/Manager and a great team of garden experts, John, Tony, Alicia, Penny, Andy, Tony, Mr. Mike, Lisa, Manny, Moses, Sherie, Robert, Kelly and Jim.

The full service landscape construction and maintenance company Redwood Landscaping and Property Maintenance is run by an able crew of knowledgable team members ( Lisa, Moses, Donald, Joe, Joe Gibson, Manny). All landscape management is completed by Manny's daughter Lisa-Vice President/Owner, who has over 20 years of landscape design and operating experience, Moses-Vice President/Owner and Manny Vales President/Owner. 

Joe Gibson, founder/owner of TrimLawn,  now a division of Redwood Landscaping, joined our company on a full-time basis in Spring 2007 and works with the Landscaping team in a management capacity.  Joe brings his expert insight and advice to help our clients, with their landscaping projects and complete lawn fertilization programs including Organic. 

We are dedicated to our loyal customers and will go out of our way to ensure your gardening experience will be a good one. We would like to tackle every job that we get called in on, however we get booked early and given the 10-9 month seasonal nature of our business in New England, it is suggested that you call or stop in early. We always try our best to accomodate our clients timing needs.  Late Fall and Winter is a great time to plan your Spring 2010 Projects.

We are open from 9:00am to 5:30pm 7 days a week. 

Starting in December we open from 9:00am to 9:00pm for Chirstmas Tree Season.
